The MSNBC online poll has consistently run close to 90% for new Twin Towers since it first appeared in January. Although there is no longer an MSNBC link to the poll, it is still open for ongoing voting.

In late January and early February, David Shuster directed a sustained spotlight on the Twin Towers II alternative to the official plan for Ground Zero. Our ten-foot-tall model was the center of much attention at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Kenneth L. Gardner, co-creator of the Twin Towers II plan, was asked to prepare a presentation, and he surprised hundreds of appreciative convention-goers with the information that not only do detailed plans for re-engineered Towers exist, but they could be built sooner and more economically than the current plan. "There is nothing far-fetched about changing plans," Mr. Gardner explained. "The switch could be accomplished seamlessly."
